Parkinson's Walking Football
AFC Community Foundation in partnership with Northfield neighbourhood Network Scheme, are proud to announce the launch of our brand-new Parkinson’s Walking Football sessions, designed to support those living with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions through the power of sport, movement and community.

These weekly sessions are tailored to be welcoming, inclusive, and supportive – combining fun, low-impact, physical activity with a friendly space to connect and socialise. No football experience needed – just come along and get involved!

Foundation ambassador for the Parkinson’s program, and former England U21 Manager, Aidy Boothroyd, will also be in attendance across the year to help out with aspects of coaching and playing
Aidy, himself, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in November 2021
