MENTAL HEALTH
Founded in September 2022, our Mental Health program provides the opportunity for people with mental health issues to get out for couple of hours a week to socialise, combat loneliness and hopefully make new friends, using football as a tool.
As we know, sport has been proven to help improve people’s mental health, but it will also build confidence, overcome anxiety, whilst developing new skills and fitness, both physically and mentally.
Everyone who attends is there for the same reasons and knows what it’s about so there is no judgement passed.
This has been a very successful venture that is growing every month with individuals wishing to be part of an active and supportive group, where all can relax and have fun
