SCHOOLS IN THE COMMUNITY

The Alvechurch FC Foundation are working hand in hand with many local schools in the area, delivering sessions for students that have Special Education Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) Anxiety, Confidence Issues, Behavioural Problems or struggling with Social Skills.

Due to the number of children requiring additional support increasing across the board, schools are struggling to service the bespoke support these children need for learning. School sport and physical activity is essential for supporting these children’s physical, psychological and social development and through a variety of sporting activities we help engage these students.

PE and school sport experiences have vastly improved for disabled children over the year with children taking part in more inclusive and accessible PE lessons and sports, developing new techniques as well as learning key life and leadership skills.

After School Clubs

We currently deliver many After School Activities are for both boys and girls aged 5-11. They are run by our FA Qualified coaches and follow a structure of coaching and free-play fun! Groups are split by age and ability to make sure everybody has great fun while keeping active and learning new skills! Sessions run 3.30-4.30pm.
